Homework Policy
• Homework is simple, and usually easy to get done. If she assigns you something, she has a reason for it and will make sure to read through everything meticulously. Hardly will it be anything tedious unless the class has angered her in some way, if so then prepare for the longest, most boring assignments and papers. Most of the time homework is independent research on current curriculum for the class and to practice.
• Professor Kattalakis will not accept any late work. However, students have until nightly curfew to have the assignment due turned in for her. If the assignment still is not turned in, the student(s) in question will receive detention and a failing/zero/T grade per assignment.
• Secret- This strict policy has its exceptions. She just might bend the rules for favored students or if certain extenuating circumstances sway her judgment.
Detention Policy
No set detention style or dates, varies by day, student, crime and anger level at the time detention was served. Assignment will still be due or student shall face ongoing detention or other courses of action Azzura sees fit. Student will be given a warning at the start of every class of her rules- since she assumes everyone knows the school rules- so anything done after that will result in detention. Quidditch doesn’t matter. Leniency is varied and flexible.
Styles of Detention
• Taking care for both/either Kaeus & Havok. Consists of bathing, grooming, exercising, feeding and keeping assigned pet(s) happy in general. Worse with this is possible biting/clawing, and the possibility of venturing into to forest for a hunt with said pet. Azzura will most likely accompany or shadow, depending on the time of the hunt; day or night.
• Cleaning the classroom and/or the dueling club room without magical means. Detention ends when Azzura believes the job is done, so do it right the first time and make bail. Organization possible chore as well- but since Azzura is neat and organized in general she might let her pets make a mess or make them herself just to give them something to fix.
• She personally believes lines are useless, so there’s a good chance if she serves this out it’s what she thinks of you. This detention usually lasts up to a week- more if you push and may be combined with other styles. You do a certain number of lines on parchment, same number using you’re wand to write in the air ((If competent enough to do it)) and then double writing it in the dirt using a wand, and then clean it all up.
• Dummy for Dueling Club. Student will be training/practicedummy partner for duelists or Azzura herself-usually Azzura herself- for others to watch & observe. If she’s in a nice mood she’ll let you use your wand and actually attack back or defend- but she’s skilled enough to be able to put any student in their place.
• Times of detentions vary but if not completed or sentence isn’t complete she’ll keep you until an hour or so after curfew at the latest, but since she’s usually busy she’ll most likely give you an extra day to finish.
• If she has nothing for you to do, then boredom might just work as you’re worst enemy since then she’d make you sit by yourself without allowing you to do anything. Well except your assignment.
Tutoring
If a student feels the need for extra work, help or tutoring, they may find her after class or when she’s not teaching an actual Charms lesson to schedule an appointment for the situation. Of course, joining the Dueling Club is the best way to learn and/or have student peers or other adults hone and modify your skills or to answer any questions. Or if you just wanna see the Professor.

She tries to keep the class as engaging, fun and productive as possible. Hell, if she's in a good moodand maybe even slightly drunk she might even have a free day where the class chooses what to do.
HOWEVER
Professor Kattalakis can be a no-nonsense teacher. You’re either there to learn or you’re not. If not, then stay out of trouble in her class or at least pretend to so you wouldn’t have to be in trouble. She doesn’t ask much, and she gives all the opportunities she can to make things work. She does expect much, hell she expects a LOT. But again, she leaves that to the students how high they want to get or become, but she’ll never say no to helping someone get there. As long as you meet the requirements, no problem. Above and beyond- awesome. Impressions are hard to change for her. She does like her students, and will go out of her way if they truly need her. Take advantage of this and you’ll need the Headmistress to save your ass.
