"Whatever it is, I'm sure it will."Adriane couldn't help but smile. He had to know what she wished for, Gavin just had to know. How could he not? He was so special to her and he was all she wanted. Her eyebrows raised just slightly as Gavin leaned in closer to her, positioning his hand on the back of her neck just so. He must have been so very comfortable not to blush at how close they were, because Adriane had to fight it off herself, fully aware of the lack of clothing and proximity. And the kissing was just so..intimate and gentle. This was the kind of things adults did, right? But, they were almost adults. 17 and counting. Plus, this thing...the thing they just did was an "adult" thing. Did Gavin intend for this adult thing to happen again? Of course, Adriane thought it was going to happen again. Not now. Well, not that she would mind. At all. It's just practicality suggested that it wasn't possible. For her wish to come true, certain things need not happen until later in life. Like, little bundles of joy...or little bundles of crying, pooping, and peeing. Yeah, that need not happen now. And well, the likelihood of it happening given that this adult thing take place again now....well, it was high. "Gavin...I...I want to...but..." she managed to say softly just as his lips brushed her shoulder.

Was Gavin enjoying himself? Well, that might be an understatement. Not that he was like that... he really wasn't. He was new to all of these things... Kissing, being so close... He wasn't saving himself for Adriane... they just... never happened. Of course... maybe he purposely made them not happen? That is completely possible, considering... he isn't very vocal, and he is more of a wallflower than a "get on the floor and dance" kind of guy. Adriane had always been there for him, and this just... well... kind of happened. Adriane had always been the leader of the two of them and... Would he have done anything if she didn't tell him she wanted to? Would he have brought it up? That is a very... interesting thought. It weighed Gavin down... because he knew that it probably wouldn't have. He was... not the pants wearing type when it came to relationships. That wasn't the best metaphor, but you get what his creator is talking about, right?
Gavin liked kissing Adriane. Here, (which was her jaw) here, (which was her neck) and here (which was her shoulder). He liked making her feel good... but... now that he was thinking about it, he wasn't exactly sure if she liked it. Did she or didn't she? That was the question. But... it didn't kill Gavin too much with thought. No, he barely heard her as she spoke.
"Gavin...I...I want to...but..."
"Hmmm?" he questioned, responding to her so she wouldn't think he was ignoring her. Was he ignoring her? No, of course not. It was just... the proximity, and the skin, and the... skin... Gavin's cheeks turned a shade of pink once he realized what she said, and he quickly backed off, taking his lips off of her shoulder. Surely... he wasn't starting anything! No! Would he have minded if he did start something? Of course not! He would have fully enjoyed it. Gavin shoved his bottom lip into his mouth and took his hands off her, dropping them in his lap on top of the blanket and looking down at them.

"Hmmm?"Adriane didn't want to come out and just say it. One, she wanted it to happen again. Two, she liked what Gavin was doing right now. Three, she didn't want to scare him off. Four, it wasn't like it was comfortable to talk about less than desirable possible outcomes of "adult" activities. So she just laid there, breathing shallow and waiting to see what would happen. So submissive? No, Adriane was just conflicted. How would she ever have thought to bring more than one? Two? The first time? No. Not a consideration. Well, not until they had gotten all lovey and now Gavin started to kiss her like he was. With all the exposure. Skin type exposure with the opposite sex. Under the covers but still..it counted. And then Gavin did number three. Adriane had scared him off - literally. His lips were no longer pressed to her skin and he even took his hands off of her. "Gaviiiin," she said lightly, as if he were slightly ridiculous. Adriane scooted nearer to him. "I didn't want you to stop....I was just...well...you're affective and I have poor impulse control today," she said, softly, pressing her lips to his.

Gavin. Felt. Ridiculous. Why? Because he was kissing Adriane and not paying attention and liking it and not doing things like listening to her and respecting her wishes... Had she even said any wishes of the sort? No... but Gavin still felt bad. He wrung his hands in his lap, on top of the blankets. He twiddled with a stray thread on the blanket, and he blinked slowly and sighed. Gavin concluded that the blanket was very intricate, and "leave it to the Room of Requirement to have fancy things but not let me know that one time is the limit!" Actually... he did not know that it would... well... possibly have been more than one time. He didn't even consider it. But he was considering before this all happened that Adriane would back out and not want to do it. So... doing it more than once was not even something that he had thought about since he didn't think it was going to happen in the first place. And he wasn't going to push it.
"Gaviiiin... I didn't want you to stop....I was just...well...you're affective and I have poor impulse control today."
The way she said his name made him feel ridiculous. Was he ridiculous? Well he felt it, and Adriane made it sound that way. He didn't eve move a muscle when Adriane scooted closer to him. His hands stayed put in his lap, twiddling away at the string. His eyes stayed focused on them. Gavin sighed again, and then felt movement beside him as Adriane came closer and planted her lips onto his. Gavin obliged, of course, lifting his head up so kissing her could be less of a challenge. How tense he felt was replaced by a feeling of ease... but in the back of his mind he was holding back. He was still kissing her of course, but he wasn't kissing her as... well... as good as before. She probably wouldn't enjoy it as much, but Gavin didn't want her to think that he was trying to get her to do it again.

She could tell after only a moment that something was different by the way Gavin kissed her. Adriane's brow furrowed and she pulled away gently, tracing her index finger from the back of his jawline to his chin in one quick motion. Adriane just looked at him for a moment before sliding her hand to the back of his neck and gently playing with his slightly longer hair. She pouted, though only slightly, her eyes dropping down from his. He was doing that thing. Manly macho horny men didn't do this type of thing, but that's because they weren't sensitive to a girls needs. Gavin was sensitive to her wishes, just oversensitive. Did he know why she wanted to stop? Like really know? It wasn't a want to stop. It was a feeling of a need to stop. Adriane wasn't ready to risk something so big. Granted, they were in their last year of Hogwarts and it wouldn't be that big of a deal if it happened. WHAT?! How could she even think like that? A baby?! Not the big of a deal?! It was the hormones talking. The urge for things to continue as they had been. Also, Adriane would have liked to see some sort of a smile back on her love's face. It was that feeling that she would do anything to put it there. Adriane felt she would do anything to make him happy. Anything and everything, because he brought her so much happiness and was essential. Some would say relying on someone so heavily was unhealthy and that it would lead to negative consequences. Nobody else can define you. You are an individual. That's what some people would say. Another person does not make up any part of you. You are yourself. Adriane would obviously disagree, because she had only pulled away from Gavin for a short moment before she pressed her lips right back to his, a bit forcefully, and managed to slide the hand that was not on the back of his neck, down under the cover. NO! Not for that. Well, not yet. Adriane rested a hand on his chest sliding it down so slowly it would be barely noticeable until she had made much progress. Surely, this would end up making him happy? Oh...Adriane.

Gavin didn't know what to say... didn't know what to do. He felt like a nit. A ninny? Whatever other British slang words for dumb@ss that could come to your mind. Why? Because he was starting something, he was trying something, he was going for something, and Adriane wasn't having any of it. Not that he would have minded if she obliged, in fact, he would have enjoyed it very much. But... why didn't he think of that? Did he want what she was implying could happen? No! Of course not... not yet. There were a couple years before that should happen for sure, for sure. And now he was barely kissing her, barely touching her... if at all. In fact, his hands were still sitting in his lap. He was kissing her, but it wasn't like... the perfect kisses, the type of kisses that you do if you want something more out of the moment than a kiss. Gavin wasn't going to push anything.
At that moment Adriane pulled away for just the slightest moment. Was she done? Finished? She'd want to go back to her dorm now, he'd blown it. That was for sure. He ruined a lot of things, and this would just be added to the list. Gavin internally sighed, just as her lips pressed against his once again, a lot more forcefully and... heated than before. Gavin's heart leapt from his chest to his throat, and he began to get nervous. He didn't know what she was doing... and he wasn't exactly sure he wanted to know, either. He was still rather innocent, you know! He'd felt her move her hand from around his neck and underneath the... where was she going with that... Gavin's eyes snapped open as he kissed her, just for a moment. He wasn't sure he was going to like this, not one bit. So... when her hand stopped on his chest, he moved his hands from his lap... one rested on top of hers to prevent from further movement, and the other... well... the other he put around her and rested on the small of her back, gently. So now he kissed her. Gavin got the message right? Or was he clueless at to Adriane's intentions? She hoped not. She had never done anything like this before. The idea itself was daunting. In fact, she was more comfortable with what they had just done than the idea of..well, I hope you know what I might be referring to. That would be awkward wouldn't it? How would she know if she was doing the right thing? What if she was bad? Surely it was easier to be bad at that as there was a more active role on her part. Okay, she was going to play the active role completely in that act. It wasn't like what just happened which was a shared act and a lot on Gavin's end. No, this would be all her fault or her doing or her giving. Whatever! Her heart pounded faster in her chest, her brow furrowing slightly as she kissed him deeply. And Gavin at least kissed her back now. Her heart pounded away as her hand failed to rest on Gavin's chest, slowly inching. But then, his hand covered hers in a way that was meant not for her to move. He wasn't heavy handed. No. It was just the way he placed it there seemed to say "stay" and then next moment she felt his hand lightly upon the small of her back. Adriane let out a light sigh through her nose. Why wouldn't he want it? Shouldn't she make it up to him for making him feel like she didn't want him? Adriane wanted him and wanted it time and time again! It was just...Gavin wasn't supposed to ever be a mistake and if they continued with certain things, Adriane might label him as such. And Gavin was supposed to be around forever. Things had to work out. She pulled her lips away from his for a moment her chest heaving slightly from the quickly building tension. "Gavin..." she wiggled her fingers lightly under his hand. "You don't want me to..."

Of all moments to become self-conscious... now was not the moment Gavin wished it would kick in. And where was this Type-B personality that he'd always had? Where did that go all of a sudden? Gavin of course didn't know... he hadn't ever been one to say no to someone... No... for as long as he could remember he hadn't ever said no... unless of course the request was something ridiculous that he couldn't deal with or didn't want to deal with. But that in itself was an entirely different story! The point of this was, that he was used to just giving in and saying yes all the time... especially to Adriane. And now... well... now, he was saying no. Well, he wasn't saying it... but actions speak a thousand words, isn't that right? Or is it a picture speaks a thousand words? Either way... what he was doing meant no. In the... lamest of senses.
"Gavin... You don't want me to..."
Gavin pulled even further from Adriane than she had. He raised just one eyebrow and felt Adriane wiggle her fingers beneath his hand. Gavin simply sighed. "N-noooot..... if it's because you aren't giving in to me... and my stupid antics," he nodded slowly. He assumed that was why she was doing it... of course, he could be completely wrong. But the chances of that were... well... "I know better, I do..." Just the skin, and then the touching, and the kissing, and the... skin... But was he going to tell Adriane that was the reason that he was doing the things he was doing? Of course not. "Just the skin and the touching and the closeness..." he muttered quietly, very quickly. He felt the color rise to his cheeks and immediately regretted opening his mouth.

"N-noooot..... if it's because you aren't giving in to me... and my stupid antics.""I wouldn't call them stupid," she said, gently. No, they weren't stupid antics. They were just natural impulses, natural impulses that Adriane would rather give into if she was the slightest bit irresponsible. But, he Gavin did have a point..she supposed. Adriane supposed if she was going to do that, it should be because she wanted to do it - her own inclination. She shouldn't have to feel as though she had to or to do it out of guilt. Those kinds of things just lead to awkwardness and resentment, not that Adriane knew that from first hand experience. She had never done such a thing before. "I know better, I do..."Adriane leaned in towards him again, not intending to kiss him just yet, but just looking at him closely. That, and she liked to be close to him. Even with tension and little clothing that made things...hard. HA. Get it? HA. "Just the skin and the touching and the closeness...""Mhm," was all she said, equally as quiet. She moved her hand from the back of his neck to rest closer to his face, brushing a thumb over his colored cheek, before pressing her lips gently to his again. Just for a moment. "The skin...and the touching...and the closeness make it very hard to resist you. Yes." Adriane smirked, thinking her boyfriend was very cute at this moment. At least he found her attractive enough to do these things. It was actually quite the compliment or so Adriane thought. It made her feel good about herself and confident. She kissed him again, gently, sliding her body closer towards his.

"I wouldn't call them stupid."
Wouldn't she? Gavin thought that they were stupid. He was the one kissing her, the one starting things, making her want things. That was stupid... especially when they hadn't planned for it to happen more than once! Why were these thoughts even happening? Because... normally... in those muggle movies... they'll have their first time... sure, all fine and dandy, although more romantic than one would expect. More romantic than was necessary. Sure, it felt good and then there was that... connection... but... you didn't need to make it on a bed of roses or with candles everywhere. No... Gavin thought that was overboard. But in those movies, it never happened more than once. But then again... the heroin usually went crazy and burned down her house, so...
"The skin...and the touching...and the closeness make it very hard to resist you. Yes."
Gavin smiled a little bit. She was kissing him still. Hadn't they decided that kissing was probably not the best idea right now? That's what they had decided, right? Or was he crazy and just imagined that was what had happened. But... she was right. The skin, and the touching... and the closeness... did make it very hard to resist... things... he wanted... things... again...
NO! He didn't! But... he did.. and it was so hard now that she was kissing him again and scooting closer to him and doing things like touching his face! What did she even want from him right now? He had no idea! Was he going to kiss her back? Of course, he was. There was no doubt about that. But... where was she going with this? What was going to happen? Did she even know?

Did she even know? Good question. No, Adriane had no clue. She was just letting her hormones guide her. Well, to an extent. Adriane gently moved her hand out from under Gavin's, assuming he would let her. She had made an effort to slide it up, making it clear she wasn't intending to go there. So, Adriane would slide it gently up to rest upon his shoulder, her other hand still near to his face as she kissed him gently. Not overpowering. Not with any distinct tension. And yet, her body moved closer to his and it wasn't until she felt, skin...the slightest brush, that she stopped moving closer to him. Her body froze and Adriane was suddenly very aware, taking in a sharp breath through her nose. Yeah, the touching and the skin. Uh yeah. Why was she doing this? No, she really didn't know. There was no logical reason. It was all about feeling and emotion. Adriane pulled her lips away from Gavin's for just a moment, her forehead resting against his. Her eyes scanned his face gently before she ran the hand on her shoulder up to rest on that side of his neck, her thumb lightly brushing his jaw. And with that, Adriane closed her eyes. Her lips inched towards his slow, tortuously slow. And she would pause just as her lips skimmed his. If Gavin moved in, Adriane would have moved her lips just out of reach. -But only for a moment before she gave in and pressed her lips to his tenderly. What was she doing?! Well, Adriane was getting what she wanted. They didn't have magic for just anything. If she could just locate her wand...or Gavin could just locate his...a simple summoning charm could rectify this problem...Of course, Adriane was quite involved kissing her boyfriend at the moment to pause.

Gavin opened his eyes when the kissing ceased for a moment and looked into Adriane's blue eyes. They were a lot bluer it seemed in that moment... bluer... and full of... something. At that moment he felt that she had moved her hand before that moment... and it was resting on his neck now, so both of her thumbs were touching his cheeks. The color was soon fading from them, and a small smile creased his lips. Whatever it was in her eyes... Gavin still didn't have an idea... it didn't matter. At that moment he realized that he... loved her. He really loved her. Not like before, when he just loved her. Now he actually... felt it. It was there, boiling inside of him and he just wanted to lie there forever with her, just the two of them. Was this what love always felt like? Like you were going to explode with... like you were going to explode? In a good way?
At that moment Gavin wouldn't have minded if Adriane kissed him. If they were just going to sit there looking at one another... it might prove to be a little awkward but Gavin didn't mind. As long as they were together... it was... alright. It felt like everything was okay. And why this sudden burst of realization? Gavin always felt realization hit him when he looked into her eyes. It was like... staring into an abyss of confusion and realization. It was... good for him, it seemed.
But all of these thoughts were cut short when Adriane kissed him again. Not that he minded, of course. The proximity and the skin and the everything else that was mentioned in previous posts were still apparent and obvious and of course he wanted to kiss her. Of course he wouldn't mind doing more than kissing with her again. But he didn't want to force her into anything... Although... she was kissing him so nicely, so... warmly... so... lovingly... he didn't want her to stop. He didn't want... Ugh... Gavin pulled away. Of course, of course, of course he did not want to. "Adriane," he whispered, "I thought we weren't..."

Not everything had to be heated to lead to certain feelings or rather, certain urges. No, tender kisses could create that certain mood just as well as something quick, forceful and impassioned. Kissing someone with so much care and tenderness just showed you cared. It showed you cared a lot, so that is what Adriane was showing. Her lips touched to his in that particular way was saying, "Gavin I love you and care for you so much that I'm going to be particular and selective in the way I kiss you. Kissing you slowly and gently will allow you to savor it and then, I want you to savor me". Yes, that is how kissing this way could lead to other acts. Or at least this was how Adriane saw it. "Adriane, I thought we weren't..."So now Gavin was to be the responsible one or so it seemed. She let out a soft sigh through her nose as a smirk pulled at the right corner of her mouth. "We weren't...but.." Adriane place a featherlight kiss upon his jaw, taking care to move her hand away for a moment. "I had.." she placed another on his neck. "a smart.." and another on his neck, further down. "idea," she said, finishing one thought right before she placed a kiss between his should and his neck. Adriane lifted her head to look him in the eye again, before placing a quick and soft kiss upon his lips. Her smirk broadened slight. She felt clever. Adriane placed her hand back where it had been before she kissed his neck. "All we need is to summon....one...tiiiiiny thing," she said, finally giving it away as she touched her nose to his.

Gavin was trying so hard, so very, very hard to be responsible, to do what was right... to notify when things were getting out of hand. He really was... because... Adriane seemed to have given up on that. Did he want to do it again? Of course he did. He was a guy... that much was a given. But Adriane hadn't wanted to do it again, so this... kissing and talking about it was not helping very much. In fact... Gavin was starting to get a bit lightheaded from it all, almost as if he would pass out any moment. This was very stressful... Gavin sighed a little more heavily than he had originally intended and closed his eyes.
"We weren't...but.."
She kissed his jaw.
"I had.."
Now his neck... Gavin gulped in a mouthful of air.
"a smart.."
Ahh! What did she think she was doing?! Gavin shoved his bottom lip into his mouth and bit down on it.
"idea."
And when that last kiss made it's way onto his neck, just above his shoulder... it really was too much. Gavin opened his eyes just a bit and tipped his head back slightly just as Adriane leaned in to place a soft kiss on his lips. Gavin smiled at her, just before he leaned in and planted a kiss just below Adriane's ear on her neck, just as she began to speak.
"All we need is to summon....one...tiiiiiny thing."
Gavin retracted so he was able to look Adriane in the eye once again. One tiny thing? What did she mean by that? What... oh. Gavin felt his cheeks redden as Adriane touched her nose lightly to his. He was supposed to say something now, wasn't he? "Uhhhmmmmm..." was all he could manage to mutter. He sighed again. "I-if you w-want... th-that's f-f-fine..." Oh boy. Here came the stuttering again. "I... I can g-go grab m-my wand..." Gavin's cheeks grew even more red and he looked about for his underwear. He wasn't about to just strut about without any clothes! Luckily, his underwear was right over the edge of the bed and he slid down and put them on before briskly walking to his pants. Ughhhhh... he thought. What was this about? Did he even want to do it again?
Who was he kidding?
Gavin pulled his wand out of his pants pocket and made his way back over to the bed where Adriane waited. Sighing once again, he hopped back onto the bed, this time keeping his underwear on. Gavin held out his wand towards Adriane. If she wanted this to happen... she could do it, right? It only made sense. Gavin was through with making decisions... that much was for sure. He always seemed to make the wrong one.
